Reflection

In this critical Reading class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I think this subject was difficult but it’s very important to me. The teacher was very punctual, puritanical and kind. I've been learned this subject for 15 weeks; I learned about what is the critical reading, learned about facts and opinions, learn how to find main ideas, learn Early Hypothesis Formation, learned about the Age of Immigration, learn how to criticize movie, book and advertisements, leaned about Reading Editorials and the last I learn about  Reading News Articles. The teacher usually ask us work in pair or group 4 people and share ideas about the topic which we learned. I would like to say thank you very much to Aj. Usa Noytim for teaching me about this subject and behave well. I will remember everything of her teaching. I enjoyed and really like this class. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY TEACHER, Aj. Usa  

Week 15 23/9/2013

Today I had make up class with Dr. Usa Noytim. This was the last day. I continued studying Reading News Articles. The teacher asked us to share ideas and answerwed  about  "Facebook to Share Your Info for Money". I learned about "To oup of facebook's new profile sharing is a multiple step process". It has 3 step. I think this lesson was important because we used Facebook everyday. If we use Facebook carefully, it's very useful. I enjoyed this class.

Week 14 19/9/2013

Today I had a class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I leaned about Reading Editorials in worksheet. The Reading Editorials is about 44 hurt after light rail cars collide in San Francisco, 
teacher read it and searched that news in the internet. Then she asked us work in group this news. The next text was about Another enormous Obama care ‘Oops’ by Michael Barone. It’s about insurance policy in America. After that she asked us think words about Facebook, it’s a next topic. My friends wrote  many words about Facebook. I think the Facebook topic was interesting. I want to learn next topic; Facebook.

Week 13 12/09/2013

Today I had a class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I continued studying advertisements. I learned about how to find the theme lines of advertisement. The teacher asked us did exercises about reading theme line and stated the theme of each advertisement in a sentence. I learned about positive words and negative words in the advertisements sheets. She asked us to do three advertisements for homework and find 3 advertisements. She gave us new sheet; Reading Editorials. I think this class was interesting.  I enjoyed this class.

Week 12 5/09/2013

Today I had class with Dr. usa Noytim. The teacher asked us about movie reviews’ words. Then she gave us to new sheets of movie reviews and The First Grader movie reviews. We wrote The First Grader movie reviews in worksheets. After break teacher gave us to new sheet about reading advertisement and did exercise on the sheets. She asked us to find the movie reviews that we like and do on the movie review sheet. I think this lesson quite difficult. I enjoyed in this class.

Week 11 29/08/2013

 Today I had a critical reading class with Dr. Usa Noytim. Teacher gave us to new sheet.  The new sheet is about the Teaching Reading Skills in a Foreign Language book review. She explained some positive examples and some negative examples of the book reviews, asked us read context and did exercise on the sheet. Then, I leaned about the following book review of CHRISTINE NUTTALL and found the positive and negative words. I think this lesson was important and difficult. I enjoyed in this class.

Week 10 22/08/2013

  Today I had class with Dr.Usa Noytim and have a test about Critical Thinking; Fact and Opinion, main ideas. I think the test was very difficult. After the test, we learned about the review of The First Grader. The teacher gave us two new sheets and explained about the power point of Author’s purpose, Author’s tone, Author’s point of view and Author’s intended audience. She asked us answer the questions. I think this lesson was important about reading and made me understand more. I enjoyed this class. 

Week 9 15/07/2013

Today I had class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about old topic; The First Grader. The teacher asked us write words about The First Grader on the whiteboard.  She asked us do exercises of The First Grader and check the question. We discussed about this story with my partner. It’s made me understand more story of Maruge. After that we discussed about immigration of each countries of 4 people per group. I think the first Grader is a good movie. I like the movie because it make me have inspiration to study. I enjoyed this class.

Week 8 25/07/2013

Today I had class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about Learning Experiences in new sheet. She asked us discuss about “You’re never too old to learn” with friend. She explained about measuring global literacy and then we do exercise together. After that we watched the movie about First grader, it was very good and interesting movie. Finally, she assigned homework to comment and analyse about that movie. I like the movie and I enjoyed in this class.

Week 7 18/07/2013

Today is 18 July 2013. I went to attend“The 5th NPRU National academic Conference Research for Sustainably Regional Development toward ASEAN Community”.Prof.Dr.rer.nat. Manfred Koch is first lecturer. He come from Germany.He talked about earthquakes in the world.Second lecturer, Surayut Chulanon.He talked about philosophy of the efficient economy of His Majesty which our King.I think this conference was important to use with ASEAN community.

Week 6 11/07/2013

Today I had critical reading class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about the Age of Immigration. Teacher asked us discuss about immigration with my friends. I read The Age of Immigration this story has 5 paragraphs and I answered the questions: getting a first idea about the article. I matched each paragraph to its main idea. I answered  the questions about immigration. I found  words in article that are similar in meaning. I think this lesson was difficult but it very important. I like found similar words it made me know new words. Before we will finish class, teacher ask us to do homework: research  immigration's information  of other city with group of 5 people. I  interested this lesson.

Week 5 4/07/2013

Today I had class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about  main ideas and she asked us discuss what is main ideas. She explained what is main ideas and how to find main ideas. We learned Early Hypothesis Formation and Testing to find the main ideas. I did exercises. I had quiz about facts and opinions. I think this lesson was important to reading but it quite difficult. I will practice more. I enjoyed this class.

Week 4 27/06/2013

Today I had class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about facts and opinions. First, teacher asked us work with group 4 people and make 5 sentences about facts and 5 sentences about opinions. Then we share each sentences in our class. teacher asked us read passages and do exercises about facts and opinions. I think I can suppurate between facts and opinions sentences. I enjoyed working with group. This lesson was quite easy. I like this lesson.  

Week 3 20/06/2013

  Today I had critical reading class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I learned about story of Sushi. First teacher wort word "SUSHI" in board and asked us write other word relate Sushi. My friends wort around 10 person and they wort word. For example seaweed, rice, salmon, etc. Then she asked us read to the old sheet about Popular Culture critical reading and answered questions. After that she told us discuss about Sushi with group 5 people. Last I had quiz  about story of Sushi. I interested about Sushi. I like eating Sushi. I think this lesson was interesting. I enjoyed this class.

Week 2 13/06/2013

 Today I learned about critical reading with Dr. Usa. Teacher showed us Mona Lisa picture and asked us what think about the picture. I worked with partner. Then she asked us talk about our thought of Mona Lisa picture. She gave new sheet for us and asked us read it before she explain a new sheet. We had quiz ; what is a  critical reading and why critical important to reading. I think Mona Lisa picture was interesting. I like the picture very much. The quiz was quite difficult for me. I enjoyed this class.^_^   

Week 1 6/6/2013 diary

Today  is 6 June 2013. I  had  a critical  reading  class  with  Dr. Usa  Noytim. She  gave  course  syllabus  and  explained  course for us. I worked in group of 5 people shear ideas about what is the critical  reading  and  what  is  difficulties/problem  from  critical reading. Teacher told us about critical thinking. I think this subject is important but so difficult for me. I will try to learn it. I enjoyed this class.
